Dr. Georg Rathmayr

Founder

Dr. Georg Rathmayr developed the scientific and technical basis of the method during research in micro- and nanomechanical testing at the University of Leoben.

The method was later transferred into a specialized service and equipment platform for micro tensile specimen fabrication and testing.

Re-establishment

In 2015, microsample was re-established by Dr. Georg Rathmayr with a focus on specimen fabrication, micro tensile testing and materials characterization. The company continues to operate from Scharnstein, Austria.

First Prototype

In 2016, the first prototype for series production was finalized. The redesign improved usability while maintaining the required precision and quality.
